Just thinking about something...it's still possible for an EP to be a Mage/Scientist type person.....by making them an alchemist/chemist/potion master. An expert of physical properties as it were.

That completes the scientific trio I'm working on.

They can have a potion for everything...flight, invisibility, super speed.

I'll take that risk.

I admit Twilight being able to make a large teleport seemed a bit of an anti climax (it worked better in previous episodes since it usually minimal distance ones with one or two people) though they were at least careful to show the difficulty she had performing it, and it might just be bitching because I wanted the other ponies to actually do something awesome and non Butt Monkey related (especially Rainbow Dash). Hell even let Spike do something badass for once.

Anyway a nice episode, maybe could have had more done with it but some nice development for Spike and Cool Big Sis treatment for Twilight. Had some nice cameos as well (eg. Cranky, the previous two dragons).

And we need more Crackle.

That's all I ask with regards to Twilight: let the other cast members (specifically AJ) do awesome things that Twi CAN'T replicate with magic every now and then

That's kinda the problem with telekenetic stuff, it can replicate too many powers and make them redundant. That's maybe why Invisible Girl's upgrade seemed a bit overblown to me, since her psychic strength doesn't have that many specifications and could also near outdo the powers of others such as the Thing.

Granted Twilight's strength comes and goes from scenario to scenario. At some points she is outright useless where her powers would likely have made things a breeze for her.
