At least Battle Network has some connection to Mega Man with getting to win new abilities from battles, a lot of the same themed "Man" bosses, and your character changing color to use different powers in some games. The battling does seem a bit shallow, though.

And that makes it okay? I'm sorry, but to anyone who likes those games: You have horrible taste in RPGs. You just do

This is delayed, it happened a while ago, we've moved on, and I'm not going to defend my opinions after this, but I take offense to this. Very much so. It isn't like fans of it would dislike every other type of RPG. Some other RP Gs I play are the Shin Megami Tensei, Tales, and Kingdom Hearts games. Does that make these RP Gs bad, too? The BN games are different, and I enjoyed them because of that. Just because you don't enjoy the BN games does not mean that they are horrible games. At all. I apologize, but I'm tired of people just hating on BN because "megaman should be platformer."

The Battle Network games are short, crappy, and feel like they don't have any work into them. I don't hate them just because of the fact that they aren't platformers. Don't think I'm that shallow of a gamer, man -facepalm-

EDIT: Oh, it's okay. But this was more or less directed at everyone else, too. I felt I made it sound like what I didn't want implied was implied
