I have a friend who promised to watch the whole series(this was his suggestion, actually, I only pushed him to watch four episodes). He's downloaded the entire first season, but he still hasn't actually watched any of them.

I managed to get a couple more of my friends to Synchtube three episodes with me last week (Swarm, Winter Wrap Up and Rainboom). They were sold enough that they agreed to have another session tomorrow. I'm excited.

I'm writing a darkfic for this right now. I ought to be done in a couple of days or so. It's not Cupcakes dark, but it's not on the idealistic side of the Sliding Scale Long Name either.

Stupidest way for the apocalypse to happen:

They invent an HIV vaccine.
It doesn't work.

1. That is quite possibly where the name Barbara was based on. Wouldn't be surprised if people called her "Barb" for short.

Gilda learns that Fluttershy is actually sort of badass, at least when it comes to strange Everfree forest creatures. Fluttershy learns that Gilda has a soft spot for baby birds, when she tries to teach an eaglet how to fly.

The start of a beautiful friendship? Who knows?

I sort of feel compelled to write about this now.

Am I the only who noticed a few too many Rarity-centric episodes last season? Maybe it just felt like it, but it seemed that every other ep was about her. She definitely got more episodes than AJ and RD.

Maybe it's cuz she's the only fashion related pony and MLP IS aimed at little girls? I honestly have no idea

Not last season (we got only one season) but second part of season.

That bugs me to , I like (even love) Rarity but that was to much of her. Same with Flutershy , they more spotlight than AJ and RD.

If they don't balance it in next season we will have Spotlight Stealing Squad.

Yeah it's like, Applejack got some focus episodes in the first half of the season while Rarity went ignored, and then Rarity got some focus episodes in the second half while Applejack was ignored. This is why I like to joke that Applejack's feuding really ended with Rarity stealing her spotlight.

That's definitely true; at the very least, the second half of the season had a lot of Rarity-centric episodes, while most of Applejack's focus episodes were in the first half.

...I just had a thought. Going off the healthy Portmanteau Couple Name-ability in this series, along with the potential for messing with Celestia's name... Would Celestia/Luna be called Incestia?
