Nah, they're just roleplaying.

I don't think she has repressed anger. She's not passive agressive enough for that. Her kindness is never forced and looks genuine.

@osais On a general level, I don't think she has it. She just doesn't seem like she would be angry at everypony for so long, but having a lot of bad things happen to her in a short burst can set her off.

NOPONY insults Angel's knot tying skills! But I didn't do it...

Fluttershy doesn't seem like the type that would dwell on the wrongs done to her. She seems like genuinely positive pony. If she were to write a book it'd probably like Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Repressed anger Fluttershy discussion, hmmmm....I think she does and doesn't repress it. In that she does repress her negative emotions when they happen, but she doesn't hold on to them. Once whatever caused the emotion she's holding back is over, so is the need to hold it and it just fades away.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
