A PMV was just posted on Equestria Daily and... Oh my god, I am in shock. No, it's nowhere near "Transcendence" levels of awesome, but... wow, that song was my favorite until I found out that Mustaine's a douche. And I had reimagined it as a duet between two ponies. Granted, this PMV uses Twilight and Fluttershy where I used Dash and Pinkie, but still...

Musing at end of clip sound like music from Mass Effect.

Just watched the preview clip. . .well, somepony didn't think things through.

So we have casual time travel confirmed, and Twilight's future self came from not very far into the future, and whatever message future Twi wanted to get across did not get across. . .

I am filled with bad feelings.

Wow, future twilight was scarred? And what was she wearing? I guess that it will not be as bad as it looks, but twilight was impressively beat up. Also, wars are cannon.

I wonder what kind of wars the ponies have had? The Earth Pony Rebellion of 8197? You have to control them, else they plot to destroy you!

alright, now I just hope since it's looking legit, that if a situation where Time travel would help ever comes up, there's a damn good reason they don't use it.

And I bucking love the fact the message was "mysterious" was Twi wouldn't stop talking.

I still love how meta this is—we get a clip of an episode from the future in which Twilight gets a message from the future

Know what I want? I want to see the "wars" of Slice Of Life made cannon, those would be amazing and perfectly fit. Namely in the time since Luna was imprissoned all the various nations agreed that they should randomly engage in wars with each other to keep there people from getting to bored and let the militarily minded ones blow off some steam.

Long, brutal, important wars using such fierce, deadly weapons as......water balloons, pies, cakes, and foam swords. Would also make the whole pie fight from Over a Barrell make sense, that's how they all thought a REAL battle was fought.

It looks suspiciously like future Twilight got struck by lightning at some point, but that only explains the suit and hair, not the scar, eyepatch or bandage on her head.
