@osias: The word you want is just 'gorn', or maybe 'gornish' if it's not really bad. And they're called 'fanfics' still because, even though the authors aren't any kind of fan I want to meet or admit to being in the same fandom as, the term 'fanfic' doesn't really mean 'fiction written by a fan' anymore. It's its own genre now, sort of.
Can you think inside the chimney?
So many friends. On the moon. For me.
OK, I don't think it is possible to go more meta than the My little Humans confections site, at least without breaking down various dimensional walls.
The internet is the realm of chaos, but not all chaos is evil.
@ Crowlover: That was hideously misspelt.
Tealove is best pony.

Daring, Daring Doo where are you? We got some work for you now.....
So many friends. On the moon. For me.
@Red: so, you're saying (and I agree) that the gorn ones are effective in "destroy" what the original work is about. Isn't that a parody? (I'll check wikipedia on that now)

I like Daring Doo until they introduced Dappy Doo. He sucked.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

And don't get me started on Daring Dumb.
My favourite character from Daring Doo was always Twilight Dinkley.

Daring Doo jumped sea pony after first few books.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
@crow Rarity Blake was just eye candy if you ask me. But I liked how Daring Doo on Diamond Dog Island actually turned her into a kickflank Action Mare. But my least favourite was Applefred Jones. Give him some personality writers!

Hell, I love em all! Applefred Jones, Rarity Blake, Twilight Dinkley, Shaggyshy Rogers (sorry, but I like this name more

) and Daring Doo herself of course.
My favourite Daring Doo adventure was Daring Doo and the Human Invaders. Some scary stuff there.
