Anyway, for the question about Ruined Forever in the case of Cadence being Celestia's daughter, that is for someone else not me personally. That sounds very interesting.

As for farming... I have been working in and for farms for quite a while now. What you usually wear: Jeans, button-down white shirt, closed-toed boots. However, I also live in Texas where the summer weather can get up to 110 degrees in the summer. In that case, I have indeed seen girls (and myself) working in the farm in tiny jean shorts, simply because it is super hot outside, with boots (it also depends what they are working on- "clean" activities are typically done in shorts). Even in the summer though, shirts tend to be long-sleeve (for sun protection) and button down with a light color and made from cotton.

But everyone in Texas wears jeans. It's kind of weird actually... ><

Jeans were historically invented by miners and prospectors and made from tough canvas. The metal buttons were made to "rivet" the pockets in so they wouldn't split when stuffed full of gold nuggets or something.

I've got no major expectations for Cadence, although I still like my Alternate Intepretion that she fakes being an airheaded literal Princess of Pop to trick and reverse-psych her quarrelsome and otherwise useless Cabinet into getting things done the way she wants.

Yes, but I suspect she would do this only on really hot days. They're not practical unless you're doing something where there isn't really a danger of getting hurt or muddied up, like harvesting apples.

However, if she was doing something that was "dirtier" or where she was likely to get hurt, she would probably wear jeans. Like if she was looking after the pigs, or corralling animals, or doing construction, where your legs can be bruised. But she would definitely NOT wear a mid-riff bearing outfit. It gives wicked sunburns. She would probably wear something with long sleeves instead, but made from a breezy material.
