I wouldn't mind seeing an episode where one of the CMC becomes friends with Silver Spoon after Silver Spoon and Diamond Tara have a temporary falling out. This has become a well known cliche plot in the last decade and I know that this show will use it eventually but I just want to see Silver Spoon operate independently of Diamond Tiara, because I know she can if the writers will it so.

Twist is cute, but not the cutest by a long shot.

That should be in the image repository by now.

It will be as soon as somebody uploads it to the tvtropes image server. I can't do it myself at the moment.

I'd kinda like an episode showing the CMC sort of coming to terms with DT and SS; not necessarily becoming friends, but at least having the two groups acknowledge each other as not all bad. Although given that that would require a lot of continuity wrangling that's doubtful.

I hate the "Nice bully breaks away from the nasty bully crowd" shtick.

Why not just let the two of them be friends, with Silver Spoon trying her best (and sometimes succeeding) in making Diamond Tiara act genuinely nice

@Ginger: Well the only flaw is that from what I can see is their personalities. DT is the dominant in their relationship SS is The Dragon so unless SS gets an adrenaline shot of confidence she will most likely remain second fiddle. That's how most sitcoms are and hell it's Truth in Television.

But that's the thing. Both scenarios involve Silver Spoon standing up to DT. Silver Spoon has shown to be loyal to her friend in the past, so if she's gonna stand up to her, why not in a way that attempts to make her friend better, rather than abandoning her?
