Celestia is more the sort to prank ponies either because they're jerks and deserve it, or they need a bit of a shock to break the daily monotony, or they're good enough to counterprank her.

@Red Savant: I didn't know it was an AU story/blog, that's fine then. I'm actually not sure how serious fans are when they claim things like "Party of One made Cupcakes canon" or if they're joking, although I'd hope it's the latter.

^^^True, but I also think Celestia-as-master-prankster is a little bit of an oversimplification as well. It's not like she was going around putting whoopie cushions on people's chairs at the Gala or the tea party in "Bird in the Hoof".

The only thing that bugs me about the bigger grimdark works is when the fandom attempts to be utter morons with them. Like with the (I think it was Brony State) interview of Sibsy (well, really, any of the guests during that marathon) during the summer marathon done in celebration of season 2 being almost here. People in the chat kept pestering her if she'd seen Cupcakes to the point that the chat mods had to step in.

And the original plan at the last BronyCon was apparently to have a live performance of Something Broke as a main event. In front of Fox News. And several Hasbro staff. Seriously, I think I almost killed myself from the amount of head desking involved in trying to understand the logic behind that (thankfully, it was moved to being a side event late at night instead).

Do I even want to know what this "Something Broke" is about?

Hi everybody!

I had my first pony dream and it what a weird dream it was, namely that Pinkie Pie and Rarity were the owners of a gym, which looked a lot like Sugarcube Corner. But to make it even weirder they were to the declaration of all "The best owners EVER!" After I woke up I had a craving for pink cupcakes. The only reason I could think of for this dream is Pinkie Pie is here.

Kyler and Dalek: I'll just say it's another alternate character interpretation serial killer Pinkie story (in song form) and leave it at that.
