I like how Iron Will seemed to genuinely believe that his advice was a catch all that could be applied to anyone (any really, I can't blame him for thinking that if Fluttershy is the first customer to ever not be satisfied). It was just a poor fit with Fluttershy where she took things way too far (she was really getting back into discorded Fluttershy territory, IMO). And while he was a bit of a jerk to Pinkie and Rarity, it was in response to them trying to fast talk him.

@Mousa but that's what I'm asking. Does Fluttershy subonsiously think more good things or bad things about people before consciously filtering out what to say.

The problem is that this basically CANONIZES the "It's always the quiet ones" mentality that I can't stand. She's making a CONSCIOUS effort to act like this, and if she were to get drunk (as an example), we'd see the her that lies BENEATH her persona, which I REALLY don't like the idea of.
Why can't she be quiet and pleasant on the inside as well?
