@story I'm trying to think of a good way to make a word that sounds like "sisyphean" involving his name.

Stupid unexpected pagetoppers.

[down] Eeyup, half human, half bull. But Iron Will just looks like an anthro-bull. The tie is a nice touch. [lol]

Nope he's still at 500, though he was thinking about moving up to 600. Which is pretty bad since the normal rate for this thread is closer to 900.

Yeah, it's half human half bull. So, uh, I guess that implies humans are around somewhere. Or were.

Yeah, Kegi checked out as soon as the preview clip popped up. He'll be back tomorrow.

Yeah, that's why I was surprised when he turned out to be a Minotaur. Of course Manticores are also supposed to be part human so maybe they'll just ignore that.

@story Really? I honestly have no idea what one of those is.

[down] I meant in reality.

@Seraph The Diamond Dogs are probably my favorite villains. No one else really seems to like them, though.

It's so nice to actually be able to chat again instead of just seeing boring MTG discussions.

I don't see why the creature's mythological origins in our universe would have anything to do with its biological origins in theirs.

Diamond Dogs were cool, I'd like to see them again.

Wikipedia says it's part human.

@Perp I'd just like to know what's a manticore is, since I've never heard of it. Greek mythology, I assume?

EDIT: Oh, Persian, cool. I never really learned other mythologies than Greek/Roman.

What are you referring to? The manticore or the thread?

So, there's this Manticore Artifact in Magic. It's got 6 attack and 1 defence and it can deal 3 damage to anything at the beginning of every turn, but you have to discard one card every turn or it dies. IIRC.

To be fair, I only know about it from Age of Mythology, where they are on the Greek side.

Re: Pony MTG

Rainbow Dash, who hates losing more than most other things, would be primarily a Spike player (and possibly a bit of a Timmy). Rarity would be a Johnny, as would Twilight Sparkle, but for different reasons. Rarity likes to win with style, while Twilight Sparkle prefers to mix up strange combos and see how the different cards complement each other. Pinkie Pie would be pure Timmy, playing cards like Scrambleverse just because it's funny.

Fluttershy doesn't really play, she just collects cards with pictures of cute critters. Applejack doesn't really see the point in any of it.

The Diamond dogs were indeed awesome. We need more villains around their threat level
