@Bad My ideas on the sages:

Rauru - Twilight (Kaepora woud be Owloysius)

Saria - Applejack

Darunia - Fluttershy (Weird, but she's the only one I couldn't fit)

Ruto - Pinkie Pie

Impa - Rarity

Naburoo - Rainbow Dash (Would be interesting to see her under Scootaloo

One of the definitions for Goofy is: an offensive term for somebody regarded as silly or unintelligent ( informal insult )

So if Derpy is considered and insult then Goofy should be as well.

@ Crowlover: I was thinking Rarity as Ruto actually. Since she is the only one of the Mane Six to show a desire towards romance and Ruto has the whole engagement thing with Link.

Then Pinkie as Saria since Saria is friends with everyone in the Kokiri Forest.

Now Fluttershy I think works as Impa since she cared for Zelda and Fluttershy is the most motherly of the Mane Six.

Finally I guess AJ would have to be Darunia, who is physically the strongest Sage but other than that they're not that alike are they?

I know that there hasn't been many antagonist in the show. But uh, I think only Nightmare Moon and the Red Dragon had any kind of redemption. They just kinda brushed off everything else right?

@Bad. Sorry for the delay, yes. And more for the sages, Apple Bloom would become Applejack's "Sworn Sister."

Now that Impa's a pegasus, it could add another dimension to them (The Sheikah and Gerudo both being tribes of Pegasi)

I'm not saying the complaints make sense. But I do think Derpy has different connotations than Goofy. Ditzy is a bit closer.
