The best thing about that whole sequence was that they really did a good job of not making it obvious that they had switched AJ for Rarity on the first watch, but it becomes incredibly obvious on subsequent watches. That's some good old fashioned misdirection and amazing animation.

Well, Mousa's always been one for such denial. I suspect the reason for his personality fragmentation is the sheer staggering amount of denial and self-loathing under suppression that causes his subconcious to self-partition into somewhat-coherent personality fragments.

Well, his Kingdom Hearts liveblog didn't exactly help matters. Melted down upon finding out that Blizzard was a glorified shotgun spell, and melted down again going through Monstro.

I had this theory that Spike is the dragon equivalent of a unicorn. He can't fly, but he has magic in the form of his green fire. I figure there are Winged Dragons (pegasi) and Massive wingless dragons. (Earth Ponies) too

She's taking mind altering drugs to boost the range and power of her Pinkie Sense. So she can sense stuff before it happens and stop it

Okay, that's going into my explanation for how G4 Pinkie Pie came to be. Not just that she altered her mind, but that she boosted her psychic ability so much that she gained awareness of her status as a main character in a fictional series. Pinkie's chosen method of coping with this is to have as much fun with it as possible, deciding that she can act whatever foolish way she wants now and always come out on top.
