Both are fine. And the edit, while sad, was understandable. It doesn't really harm the show in any way, and the character still exists the same as it did before. Now everyone write a letter to Celestia about what we learned from this debacle.

Her old voice kind of reminded me of Fran Dreasher, I know a couple of disabled people and none of them sounded like Derpy did.

I don't care too much about the voice, and the name is unfortunate, but I was kinda miffed that they changed the eyes, given that that's the whole reason she was popular in the first place.

I've watched that clip several times, and I still haven't noticed her eyes being any different. They still look derped to me.

EDIT: I never watched the very end of the clip. They're "fixed" there, but not throughout the whole clip. I guess we'll just have to wait and see her status in upcoming episodes. I'm sure her eyes will stay the same.

I can live with the eye change, and even the name removal. But the voice just breaks me out of how I imagine her character....it makes me think of California Cheerleaders and blonde Libbys.
