On personality:

Once I get into a talking groove with someone, I can go on. I'm generally not a big talker. I just listen a lot. I honestly don't have any real 'friend' friends, but I can handle being by myself for hours at a stretch, so it doesn't matter that much.

Oh, we're talking about meet-ups, are we?

I've only been fortunate enough to attend 2, both with my visiting girlfriend last year. One was at my current school, Lawrence Tech, and was organized by a few people from my classes that I didn't even expect to be bronies. The other was at Youmacon.

Last year marked the first ever MLP panels at Youmacon, and they SEVERELY underestimated the sheer GIRTH of the fanbase. We tried attending a day-1 panel by waiting an hour before it started, but when we got there we found that not only did the people in charge screw up scheduling by letting it start an hour early, but the people stuck outside the panel were the remaining two-thirds of the line for it.

Thankfully, they at least had the sense to hold the day-2 MLP video panel in a much bigger room, and we had the sense to get there exactly an hour ahead of time. We were also fortunate enough to see that day's new episode along with tons of awesome MLP AMV's. Hopefully, what with Youmacon expanding out to Cobo Hall this year, they won't make the same mistakes again.

@Ed: Yeah, I can be a totally different person when I'm with a couple of my good friends. Like when I was a groomsman at one of my friends weddings this summer, we all basically acted like we were totally drunk. My parents were almost confused when they saw me and four other guys on the dance floor air-guitaring and singing trying to sing along to "Don't Stop Believing".

Considering that we're having our first thunderstorm of the year where I live right now, I just thought of something. The Hurricane Fluttershy story is set to be aired right after the spring equinox, and spring tends to be famous for fickle weather, thunderstorms and rain in general, at least in the Midwest USA where I live. So I think that's a very fitting story to be the first episode of spring, at least for me (the weather and season obviously varies around the world).

Speaking of the spring equinox, anyone else in the Northern Hemisphere thinking of watching Winter Wrap-Up on the equinox itself to celebrate?

Well there was a talk about a Lets Watch of the first season over Skype this coming summer earlier today. That is something I guess.

A sort of webcam conference would be pretty cool. I do have Skype, although I don't use it very often.

I have to be the early morning church service this Sunday, which means I'll have to sleep early and miss the stream this week. But I'll be back the week after. Not even time zones will stop me!

It used to be in New York, but they're moving it to New Jersey to accommodate more people.
