Heya, Mage. Things're going rather slowly here... I'm sure we'll pick back up around "Putting Your Hoof Down", though.

That comic Ace of Scarabs posted was so very Japanese. Why would they bob for apples "using only their mouths and not their hooves, " though? Isn't that how ponies normally pick things up?

Humanized CMC was rather cute.

Anyway, I took that Brony SCIENCE! survey posted a little ways back. Unfortunately it didn't really have the right questions for me to get across what I'm like all that much. I completely lolled at the "MLP is like a Religion to you" question though. No, no it is not.

So what's going on now? I see Ginger just left.

I'm kinda glad the thread has been slowing down, it makes it much easier to keep track of. Of course come wednesday I'll be going on vacation for a week... when I get back there'll probably be hundreds of new pages.

^Nah, ponies usually use their hooves. It would make more sense to use their mouths for everything, but they all seem to have sticky hooves or something. It's an expedient measure so the animators, writers and voice actors don't have to deal with talking around things, but I don't particularly mind, since ponies holding things with their hooves are cute.

I am so looking forward to break, I might actually get something done then!

I can barely keep up with this thread these days....It makes me sad.

@L Mage: Spring break? Are you in school then? I always thought of you as one of the older people, maybe close to 30?

I think I could get around the SP drawing problem ftm by drawing them submerged in water. Jelly Bloom with her hat...and her two friends thinking she's lost her mind.

(because by SP standards it's like walking around with a gerbil on her head or something).

From what I've seen, things are about 50/50 in terms of mouth/hoof usage. I can only think of a few places where they've used their hooves for things that should be impossible, such as AJ roasting marshmallows and holding 3 sticks with one hoof in Look Before You Sleep.

Its actually Rock Candy. You can make it at home pretty easy, just dissolve a ton of sugar in water and then let the Jar sit somewhere for a while. The crystals will grow on the bottom of the Jar or if you hang a piece of string in the water they will grow on that.

It takes a couple weeks for the crystals to grow so I just bought the ones I used on this project.
