Bah, I can't debate this without first hand knowledge, so I'll drop it.

As for the next episode, I've pretty much come to stop caring about the details of a synopsis because this show never goes about things the way I would expect, so any and all prediction on my end is useless. I'm almost always satisfied with the way they turn out though, so it's all good.

Cool. How would you divide the Mane Cast up if they were Benders? (yeah, I posted this a few days ago but no one else noticed). I think it'd be:

• Twilight=Waterbender
• Rainbow Dash=Firebender
• Fluttershy=Airbender
• Applejack=Earthbender
• Pinkie Pie and Rarity=Not benders.

So yeah next episode? Eh, I'll be honest I have never cared for Fluttershy episodes, but this one does have the potential to be somewhat interesting. I just hope there is some honest to goodness character development for Fluttershy.

I think there has already been a ton of character development for her. She no longer tries to back down from dangerous situations, she's become much more capable on her own, and she's more outgoing than she used to be. That's why I hope the episode will be about her realizing this about herself.

she showed up in season 2. She's your type of villainous.

Yeah, but Azula didn't show up till the second season. I don't think the First Season villians are up to Ginger's standards.

As for what bender each one would be...

Twilight: Avatar!

Rainbow Dash: Airbender (just cause she flies so awesome)

Applejack: Hmm... Earthbender or Bad Ass Normal

Pinkie Pie: This is the hard one. I have to say... Normal?

Rarity: Firebender. Cause firebenders have badass clothing.

Fluttershy: Waterbender, since she's a healer. Although I can see her as an airbender because of her personality too.

Spike: Firebender

Ginger can't get into Avatar because by all accounts Zuko is a very incompetent villain in the first season, even though he's not the true villain. Of course, that's all to set up his character development, but I can see why it would annoy Ginger. He'd probably like it more once it gets on to the second season and better villains show up.

Its not complicated at all. It has a very simple story, the sort that is a basic archetype that has been done a thousand times before. But it manages to use this simple story to create a unique world, wonderful characters, and great story. Simply put, it is probably the single best piece of animation I've ever seen. It's a kid's show, so it does try to stay simple, but it is very mature for a kids show. For instance, one of the final arcs of the story deals with the main character, a Technical Pacifist, struggling with the decision to kill the main villain. EVERY SINGLE character he asks for advise tells him to suck it up and kill the guy. It also has some political intrigue, despite being a kids show. The action is also the best I've seen in any animation. I could gush a lot more, so if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I would have thought Ginger would enjoy Zhao, at least.

She's a teenage female Magnificent Bastard who runs circles around the heroes in terms of thinking and skill. Among her many accomplishments are turning an organization of elite secret police against their master through sheer fear, taking over one of the largest kingdoms of the planet with nothing more then two friends a disguise and her wits.
