Random nonsense: I looked a list of Pokemon attacks (Gen 1 only, for the sake of sanity), and looked for the ones that could be hypothetical pony names.
- Aurora Beam — unicorn mare
- Bubble Beam — could have been Derpy's name
- Dizzy Punch — Berry Punch's even more drunkard cousin
- Ember — unicorn mare, fire magic
- Light Screen — another unicorn
- Metronome — earth pony stallion, conductor (the musical kind)
- Night Shade — Luna's butler
- Pay Day — accountant
- Petal Dance — earth pony, florist or dance instructor (possibly both)
- Razor Leaf — earth pony, Equestrian military
- Razor Wind — pegasus, Equestrian air force
- Rock Slide — earth pony stallion, controlled landslides (like controlled forest fires, but for landslides)
- Smoke Screen — unicorn, Equestrian spec-ops unit
- Solarbeam — Celestia's handmaiden
- Thunder Shock — pegasus stallion, weather control, high-intensity storm management
- Thunderbolt — founding member of the Wonderbolts
- Waterfall — sea pony
