Fun fact, when Cysma was at 28k (the first posted progress update), the thread had 80804 posts, a difference of 52804. In the latest update, Cysma was at 41k and the thread had 103737, a difference of 62737.
So here's proof of what we've all long suspected. Cysma is actually farther behind now then when he started! Maybe reading 500 posts a day in a thread that's averaging 880 probably isn't the best idea.

Poor Cysma is permanently stuck at 39% progress, no matter how much he reads. I wish he'd just forget about the archive binge and join the current conversations.

Theoretically, if things continue at the current average rate, then his progress will asymptotically reach 56.6%.
^ Or if he won't give up, at least pick up the pace to something reasonable. I mean anyone who follows the thread is already reading more than 500 posts per day. I think 2000 would be a better goal, and it would let him catch up pretty quickly.

One other bit of trivia: Cysma's first post was 44187. So in 6 days, he'll have caught up with his first post. At that point, all of the posts he'll be reading are ones posted since he started archive binging.
Apparently he started his binge when the thread only had around 30k posts. So he's already been reading ones posted since his start for three weeks.
