Bad: I don't think so. Ginger came up with Derring and I remember him arguing with someone over whether we should have Darrin or Derring before we just decided to have both, but I can't remember for the life of me who he was arguing with.
Ace: I know I definitely underestimated how hard it is to sew a plushie when I made my Twi, so good luck with yours.

Yeller: I don't know if we should be trying to work them into the stories. But maybe we can have an offhand reference in the tropes as a quirk with the adaptations?
Ace: I found when I double (and triple in some cases) stitched the body I could stuff the legs pretty solidly (in order to let her stand up properly) and didn't have to worry about anything breaking. I had to hold back on the body a bit, though, as it caused the legs to get stuck pushing outward if I stuffed it too much. Plus the she's so much more cuddly when her body is squishy like this. >.>

Well it doesn't have to a direct reference. It could be more subtle. Maybe something like this
- Daring: Ok, here's the plan. Darrin, you're going to distract them and I'll try to ...
- Darrin: Who, me?
- Daring: No, I mean the other Darrin standing right behind you.
- Darrin: Where? I don't see anypony.
- Daring: Sigh, nevermind. Anyway as I was saying, ...
