@Badwolf: Doesn't strike me as much different then what Twilight was able to get away with in Lesson Zero, or indeed most of the mane cast in The Last Roundup (I'm referring of course to the end gag).

In general Rarity is one of my top ponies.

I liked her song in "Suited for Sucess" and in that episode she genuninely wanted to make something nice for her friends. She drove herself to exhaustion trying to please them even though their aesthetics werent to her liking.

She got over her jealousy of Fluttershy in "Green Isnt your Color" pretty quickly

She was a Bit Whiny in "A Dog and Pony Show" but Im thinking she was doing it on purpose to annoy her captors?

She was a big jerky in "Sisterhooves Special" but she made up for it in the end. She cared enough about her sister to get covered in mud that didnt come from a spa!

The only episode I thought she was totally wrong in was "Sweet and Elite".. even though her friends forgave her she was genuinely embarassed by them and didnt want to be seen with "lower class" at all.

Yeah, Rarity can be very manipulative sometimes but that's one of the (many) things I like about her.

It's my favorite FIM song to date. I was listening to the clip repeatedly the other night with headphones.

I really wish they'd do a FIM soundtrack.

@ Mio: In Lesson Zero, Celestia shows her displeasure at Twilight and I'll accept The Last Roundup but unlike Sweet and Elite it wasn't built up the entire episode.

@ Emi: I have nothing wrong with how Rarity acts in Series 1 or Sisterhooves Social.

Yeah crazy shippers, I of course never shipped Zutara ever.

@Mage: Your Middle English makes about as much sense as your shipping preferences - it's understandable, and I can kind of see how you got to where you did, but it breaks down once you get to the details and it makes me feel a little sad for the state of education nowadays.

I did tend to focus on the Rarity exclusive episodes rather than her appearance in episodes where there was more of a group dynamic.

She was a bit of a pain in the ass when she was discorded
