Good Morning my American Bro-tropers & good afternoon British Bro-tropers. Didn't plan on posting anything this early today but after waking up at 5:45AM EST and checking Eq D I of course saw the 4Chan story, which prompted me to sigh and do a slight eye-roll because I knew I would want to say something about it (especially after seeing the comments below the article). Right now I'm on a mobile device so I can't comment proper but I will say my peace on this to get it out of my system later. As it is all I will say now is that I hope we are not gonna see a significant schismatic shift in this fandom's future.

Well, /pony/ feels like some kind of lobster pot set by m00t wearing a Guy Fawkes mask to conceal his trollface. I can hear the command for the Permaban Crusher to be approved in the background right now.

Eh, 4chan's always been a cesspit. I think a good chunk of the fandom kinda ignores it.

What going on with 4chan? I saw the ED page about it, but I'm not sure why this is such a big deal.

I used to be part of Anon 6 years ago, and I find the place has somehow manage to become even worse than back then

@Colin: m00t finally opened a dedicated /pony/ board for anon-bronies rather than banish them to Ponychan. I suspect post quality on Ponychan will improve gradually because of this, until the permaban crusher comes down on /pony/ and its inhabitants

They suggested that the Daring Do page be cut.

How in the name good Celestia is this even being considered? It's not like the page is causing any trouble, and it's no worse then Inspector Spacetime.

Don't worry about. Only one person has suggested actually cutting the page, and it has so many inbound links that it's really unlikely to go anywhere.
