@Flapjack: Yeah, it's from Egophiliac's alfalfa monster comic. I'd link you, but I can't seem to find it on her DeviantArt page.
Can you think inside the chimney?
So, I wonder which elements were used by which sister?
My thoughts on the matter are:
Celestia: Kindness, Laughter, Honesty
Luna: Magic, Loyalty, Generosity
Some of them might be switchable, but some of them fit quite well, I think.
I have a message from another time...
I wonder why the difference in Unicorn horns. Is it hereditary or go with age?
plus, why more old Luna look fanart then her new season 2 look?

With a wife like that who can blame him?
I think that Luna fits honesty better and Celestia fits loyalty better. Though the only one that I'm almost positive on s that Celestia had laughter.
Clock is ticking!
^Yeah, Luna's rather blunt and serious for laughter.

Thanks. In addition to fitting their personalities, I think that giving those particualr three to Luna makes her fall rather poignant, since the way her fall came about was basically an inversion of those virtues.

Luna as Honesty may work. I just knew that it'd make sense for Luna to have Generosity, since her fall came about when she believed that nobody appreciated anything that she did.

I always had Celestia pinned as Laughter, Loyality and Kindness. With Luna as Magic, Honesty and Generosity.

Magic would probably also dissociate, since Magic is also Friendship, and she had abandoned all ties in her anger.

Yeah, that works, too. I just am sure that Celestia definitely had Laughter and Kindness, while Luna would have Magic and Generosity.

The issue is that all six fit Celestia rather well...
Can you think inside the chimney?
Do we know what the elements looked like back then?

I thought all six elements together = friendship?

Yes, but just because an Element fits Celestia doesn't mean that it may fit Luna more. I prefer it if it was a 3-3 split.

Probably those crystal spheres from the first episode.

No, the other five just throw the sixth into sharper relief. Friendship is Magic, and Magic is Friendship.
It's why Twilight only lost her colors when she lost all faith in her friendship with the other five.

Exactly.
I think Magic fits Luna better because, in addition to being Friendship, it's
also Magic, and Luna's definitely more one to display her magical talents than Celestia is.

As far as the Daring Do 'books' go, leave The Temple of Nightmare Moon, please. Someone named
SaddlesoapOpera
has expressed interest in possibly writing it to me.
I am a rock; I am an isla...Y'know what? I'm not even gonna go there.
Even rocks have standards.
Thanks for the heads up, Rich. I saw it on the post comments on EQ Daily.
