Also, I think I figured out why Scootaloo wasn't involved in the song aside from a few spoken lines. Her VA probably can't sing well, and they don't have a singing-VA for her like they do for several of the mane cast.

Yeah if all the CMC turned out to be good singers it would kind of dilute Sweetie's talent.
