You mean you DON'T think that Twi actually sent a message into the past?

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
We HAVE had time travel in this show before
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
i can believe twilight's spells could lead to time travel. i expect many Doctor whooves jokes!
Read this
Fluttershy is best pony
Take a teleport spell, hack the space destination coordinates into time destination coordinates. Compile. Voila, time travel!
I don't doubt Twilight's magic being capable of time travel. I do, however, doubt the show venturing in that direction, unless it's for one of those multi-episode adventure thingies. At best.
you will go to the paper towns and you will never come back
This is insane! Why would there time travel in a show like this?
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.

Pick one:
- Magic
- Redheart's shady new drug
- Celestia is fooling around again
- It's a Sugarcube Corner conspiracy

and again, we've had time travel before, we can have it again. I don't see the issue

I'm not convinced that that's time travel. That looks like a vision-flashback to me.

That was with Discord, who could basically break the laws of the universe, and anyway it wasn't entirely clear if that was time travel or an illusion or what.

They vanished and appeared in a completely different place after it was over.

@Kyler: Templates like those are forbidden :V
I wonder if that image is on the TV Tropes image server, so I can just inline it next time.

You keep using that word...

The simplest solution is most often the correct one. Don't put more thought into something than is completely necessary.
That's what I mean whenever I say it. Got the definition I use from House
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Have you seen the size of this thread? Putting too much thought into things is what we do around here. And if Discord could time travel with such ease, Equestria would be a lot more fucked than it was in those episodes.
I wish something were streaming right now. I'm bored of waiting.

Not really. Discord only seems to be interested in the present and the future ( since it's chaotic and unpredictable), and it was clear that the ONLY reason he lost was due to his overconfidence anyway.
