I sound bitter? About what? If it's about the argument, not at all. I just don't want to argue endlessly about interpretations because that never goes anywhere. I think Jteeth or Red could vouch for the idea that I am pretty sick of arguing about things due to issues in the Negima thread recently.

TL;DR The whole argument is based on fanon so there's no real point in arguing it.

Also, BLLAAAAARGGGG I finally finished the review. I tried to get it done before the Super Bowl started, but I didn't quite manage and had to touch it up during the halftime show. No big loss.

@Arha: Yeah, I didn't really focus on those things much either. I only started really thinking about that stuff on this thread, actually. The reviews basically started as a way for me to consolidate my thoughts on a given episode, so I had to figure out how to explain how and why I like particular elements of it.

I haven't really checked out any abridged series or anything, so nah, no Friendship Is Witchcraft for me.

But its so FUNNY! T.T

Thing is there are several abridged series. If one was head and shoulders above the other I'd watch it. As it stands I haven'treally taken to any of them, largely because mostof them have a cast of guys who don't sound very convincing as girls.

I don't find em funny either, Mage. I dislike the way they rely so heavily on being mean.

Espcially since you guys apparently let it alter your perception of the show

Eh. I don't let abridged series alter my perception.

They put a quite a bit of effort into it, as they make their own background music. Pinkie's Parasprite Polka is replaced by a polka version of Friday, and there are quite a few other catchy tunes in there.

Still, you have to respect them for that.

Not really a fan of the abridged stuff either, although it's all older school stuff for me, as I watched the first couple that came out (well before Witchcraft started running) and I wasn't really impressed. A lot of the humour felt forced to me. One of these days I might get around to seeing Witchcraft, but it probably won't be anytime soon.

Yeah, and more power to the people who like it. Just keep it away from me.

I only watched the Super Bowl a few times for the cool ads. Something I think I should watch is Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl.

Which is about puppies...in a model football stadium. I'd like it more if Fluttershy was a commentator.
