I got glasses in 5th grade, though I've pretty much been nearsighted for as long as I can remember.

Everyone kept telling me not to sit too damn close to the TV. Or I'll go blind.

Now I know why.

We've talked about things not involving ponies alot so I've gotten used to it.

I always feel like an evil person when I'm forced to comme out an say that I don't care about eyes.

My aspergers means I rarely if ever make direct eye contact with people, and even if I did, I don't see what's so great anyway XD

My glasses broke in half. I kept taking them to a jeweler to get them fixed, but they kept breaking, so I found it cheaper to just have the two halves held together with a misshapen paper clip.

As for why they kept breaking? Well...

I have nothing pony related to comment on. Carry on.

@ginger: I see the point of eye contact. Have you ever heard the expression, "eyes are the windows to the soul"? When you make eye contact with somebody you really care about, you feel as though you can understand them for who they are.

I always dislike coming off as a shallow asshole. If anything, I like the face as a whole, rather than any specific part of it. It's how the elements combine is what makes a cute face or not.

As I wrote in Japanese Teeth's review, my take is that AJ writes that letter after getting intoxicated (a pony equivalent of alcohol, or the atmosphere, your pick). I like that letter because it's hilarious (and true, and for once the pony writing it did not just mess up), except that I can almost hear the 'neener neener' behind it.

I both love and hate the "Lyra wants to be human" meme. It saddens me that most fanart/comics just make jokes about it, yet its a seemingly endless fount of comedy.
