Well, when the normal speed for this thread rivals that of a chat room, ten minutes really is rather dead. In fact that chat room mentality really is something unique to this thread that I haven't seen in another one before. A poster can pop in and say "Good Morning" and 5+ people will respond to it. The fact that I haven't conditioned myself to do anything similar in this thread yet probably makes me seem rather anti-social.
