You see though, Ginger, you'll get better as you go. I'm still trying to break in without losing interest in an idea, but I think I've figured that out now. Of course the first few thing I write won't be any good, but I can always go back and fix them.

If you feel like writing it, then write it. you just need to get over being so self conscious. And don't think it's just you, either. I have an an absolutely crippling fear of critique. For some irrational reason, I have a lot of trouble bringing myself to either show things I've done, or look at comments on things I have shown, for fear of being branded a failure. So I feel much better stuffing the critiques into Schrodinger's Box than actually taking them to heart. I'm working on it though, and you can too
