Try looking up something called the "Revolutions Pack", it apparently gives some new features to 98 and ME, including a kernel which, to my knowledge at least, will let you use some more modern programs

Celestia and Big Macintosh are both significantly larger than the other, presumably fully grown, characters. Are they horses instead of ponies?

I'm leaving my bet as is. The show has toyed with audience expectations before and I wouldn't put it past them to have Big Mac and Cheerilee fall in love naturally after the potion wears off. It's probably not likely, but I can hope, and if I lose I'll have more motivation to write pony related things.

I suspect one of the reasons I created her as an OC pony was so I have a pony I can has hugs with while not getting into trouble for improper glomping
