It was a boulder falling on a very small portion of wing too. So either that part of her wing is her equivalent of an Achilles Heel, or it takes that much force on that small of a surface area to get through her nigh impenetrable defenses.

My personal theory is that it wasn't the boulder that hurt her wing, but that she basically pulled a wing muscle or something when she tried to take off.

So I just finished reading through the current whole archive of Moonstuck.

Speculation: It seems as though the first game-over'd Luna has come back from gravity being turned on, and become bad. Also BRACE FOR PIE IMPACT.
