My theory? Derpy is transgendered taking testosterone pills in preparation for some sort of pony sex change surgery, which accounts for the fact that Derpy looks female, but has a male voice.

I think Derpy sounds like a girl. I've heard girls who've sounded like that.
Not for one second did I confuse it for a male voice (doesn't even come close)
