Don't worry Ginger. I'm with you on this. I love minor characters. You have no idea how weird it is for my favourite character to be the protagonist. This might be the first time it's ever happened. Shows how great Twilight is.

EDIT: Ginger, I love minor characters so much, my main fanfic stars Anya from Negima. And my ponyfic stars a character from the toy line.

@Sereg Most of the time, my fav characters are the antagonists, but after that comes the Side characters. Generally... the protagonists are my LEAST favourite characters in any given show

@Ginger: I don't usually go to that extreme, but protagonists are generally low on my list of fave characters from a series.

@Ginger: Depends. Some are a lot of fun and are impressive (like Discord). I tend to prefer the more ordinary characters though. The less powerful of the heroes allies and the bystanders.

EDIT: In general it's personality rather than role that draws me.
