Basically, you make it TOO unwatchable/unreadable because it sucks, and you refuse to listen to ANY one.

That doesn't make any sense. People who join a fandom were obviously not pandered to before they entered. Essentially if you've made a good show you should not have to pander to the audience's whims.

The editor is (hopefully) a valued member of your creative team, so no, not really.

You may have a point with a strong negative reaction, but the problem is if your fandom is big enough that is going to be a damn if you do damn if you don't scenario anyway.

If a fandom is large enough there is always going to some negative reaction. It's just inevitable. It's impossible to please everyone.

I thought up an alternate ending for you, Ginger. Approximately 0.37 seconds after the iris-out, Rarity snaps and beats Pinkie to an unrecognizable pulp with the business end of a cactus. Pinkie's last words were, "Chimcherry? Or cherrychAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

Making her way back to Ponyville alone on the hoofcar, Rarity tearfully tells the rest of the mane si... er, five that "Poor Pinkie never had a chance in that desert heat."

Everypony moonlights as a serial killer or something equally heinous at least once in this fandom. Except Applejack, I've never seen her do anything like that in a fic.

Or Rarity just pushes down really hard on the handlebar, knocking it into Pinkie's chin and uppercutting her off the rail. Rarity then proceeds to pump as fast as she can until Pinkie is left in the dust.
