well as I said a while ago, I love the ending, because it shows that even as infants, ponies are such sweet, kind, loving creatures that they'll instantly try anything they can to cheer up another pony that's feeling bad.

Ponies are better humans than humans

But "Oh the ponanity!" just doesn't have the same ring.

Really? I thought the reception was about average for an episode.

I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a My Little Pony story before. This one is up there with Sisterhooves Social and Applebuck Season as one of my big favorites because it was hilarious! The ending didn't bother me much, I thought they mentioned the moral pretty well in the letter (about Sweet and Elite, I do concede that while Rarity wasn't explicitly called out for lying, she still was punished by her stress and the fact that she didn't expect the others to show up at her doorstep, which made her FAINT). So I do think Pinkie learned a lesson that being silly and playing isn't a solution to everything.

The babies and their powers reminded me of underage magic in Harry Potter, especially when it comes to young muggleborns.

I seriously can't wait for Dash's episode though. I have hopes for that one that have only been matched by what I expect from a Rarity episode.
