I don't know if it's me, but Pinkie acts like a real character when she gets a focus episode. "Swarm of the Century" and "Griffon the Brushoff" are good examples.

@Sky Considering that Swarm of the Century ties with Luna Eclipsed as the episode in which I've been the most annoyed at Pinkie. That ain't a good thing.

Nah, that's just Pinkie after she has gone through some character development.

He probably has a probably with the fact that despite being in the wrong herself, she was completely absolved by episodes end.

Basically Pinkie wasn't criticized for not telling everypony else about what the parasprites even though she could have prevented the whole conflict if she did.

Well she did actually try. Just had no patience for getting it done. But she wanted to go ahead and get them out of there as quickly as possible, so as to reduce damage. So she focused on getting the instruments she needed.

Yeah, basically it was that Pinkie pretty much made zero attempt to tell every other pony what was going on, which resulted in the destruction of the town, and she never really got called on her lack of communication.

Except for the fact that 1. she could have achieved that goal faster had she actually attempted to explain herself 2. she still took long enough that she didn't really avert any damage.
