I spent most of my childhood in institutions. I have a chemical imbalance in my brain not to mention a moderate-sized hole. Twenty-five years ago, those sort of places were holding pens.

That sort of thing hardens you.

It just pisses me off to see someone scared away like that. I mean I realize you're living, breathing people, but at the same time, I have the option of just tuning out the negative: simply considering you as words on a screen if things start going south, and seeing someone just drop and run like that...

@Rich. Again, you're clearly made of much harder stuff than Fell, Me and loads of others. Your life dictated that. A lot of us (at least me) lived very sheltered lives. You can't expect everyone to have the same standards as you.

Man, this thread is slowly melting my internet desensitization with all of this caring. Hopefully this doesn't affect my ability to survive in the rest of the internet .

Ugh, what the hell happened? I stepped out to play some Sega Dreamcast and the thread is now as un-followable as a soap.

I've always imagined that the ponies were about three feet at full growth. That's way too small for most grown men and women to actually ride.

A child, on the other hand, would have no problem, and in fact I could see Pinkie Pie giving rides for free.

Another thought:

I'm a Brony, and I play video games. As such, I am perturbed at the profound lack of Pony-themed video games (girly dress-up shit doesn't count). I know there's some platformer starring Apple Bloom, but we need more!

I propose the following:

A version of Crazy Taxi (or Grand Theft Auto even though its not as fun) with all the humans replaced with ponies, and the setting is Canterlot.

A shmup starring Rainbow Dash. I've got level and plot ideas if anyone wants to try their hoof at it.

a version of strip po—NO EDMOND DON'T GO THERE wait how the hell would they even play it when they're naked anyway? New proposal: "Dress up Poker." Any pony who loses has to put on a new article of clothing. First to get to a full outfit loses.

Every last one of these needs to be released as homebrew for the PC Engine, Sega CD, Neo-Geo CD and Sega Dreamcast, because those need more love.

It wasn't a job thing. A big time director from the BBC just showed up at our college, and we needed his blessing to continue on with our final major assignment (we'd have to start over if he hated it)

I was one of the only two who passed and he personally said that my concepts impressed him

I WANT to work for the BBC, but that didn't really have much to do with it.

@Red: That would be pretty sweet, but yeah, it depends when it is, as there's a good chance that I might be out of town.

@Rich: Man that sucks. Never realized that you had it so tough. But still, Ginger has a point; a lot of people don't have such thick skin, and I think a big part of the "Love and tolerance" is learning to accommodate those people, or at the very least try to empathize with them. I mean, I think it sucks that Fell left, and I don't agree with him (I'm still here, after all), but I don't think he's wrong to leave the thread if he thinks his presence is doing more harm than good.

@Moe: Only thing I can think of is Fighting is Magic, which is still in development. The main issue with game is that they tend to be much more development intensive than stuff like art or fanfic, or possibly even music, depending. So most of them are either incredibly simple, or take enormous amounts of time and effort to put together.

Also, reverse strip poker immediately gave me the image of Applejack wearing like fifty layers of clothing because of her terrible poker face.
