I wonder if they'd be praising it if it were a boy's show.

I am a bitter old woman, ignore me.

Amid, yeah. He wrote that article. He recently made another article making fun of fans of the show.

It's funny, because in a way he's responsible for the show's popularity.

Yes we should thank him for that.

I bet that fact drive him crazy.

BTW that blog lost any bits of credibility for me.

I don't mind people not liking what I like, but the Asperger's thing seemed like a bit of a cheap shot. But I don't have it, so I can't speak for anyone.

If you can even call that an article. It's just a quote, and then him pointing out that it's a quote. Hard hitting journalism right there. Also the comments are like 90% bronies calling him an idiot.

I particularly like the "A grown man who watches cartoons bitching about grown men watching cartoons" comment.

Priceless.

Hell, it's not like us bronies are adult male fans of... well ... (hint: page picture for Periphery Hatedom)... yes that has fans and they actually ARE manchildren. The Youtube user Blackbuster Critic did a piece on them.

Also the Asperger comment is fucking stupid. You know what those guys need?

well... A PARTY! A love and tolerate the shit out of the grumpy haters party!

Amid's articles would be perfectly fine if it didn't reek entirely with "taking crap shots at anything he doesn't like". He finds resources to prove his arguments which I can respect, yet he tries to dig up the resources that would put the work or person in the most undignified, ugly, stupid light he is able to get!

Surprisingly, Cartoon Brew only talked about the show two or three times. Now, The Looney Tunes Show...

[up] Jerks are suckmasters. You know, a great way to weed out the jerks is to expose them to FIM and if they still make fun of people for liking an actually good show then balls to them I guess.

We'll love and tolerate the shit out of them.

I clearly don't like these "Cartoon Brew" folks.

But since y'all linked to them, I discovered "Kung Fu Cooking Girls", and that's awesome.

Yes, that video was awesome.

At any rate, I hope to dear God that Amid and Jerry never ever discover their TVTropes page or threads!

[up] Yes, true. My fic would be like a year later, when they're a little more mature. And they'd put on a full-on awesome TTGL-level epic show. With some help from the mane six of course. Trust me, what I have in mind is awesome sauce.

Well, I kind of 'settled' on Rarity's hair, then after scanning and submitting it, I started disliking it more and more. It was probably a bad idea to try to draw it influenced by the wind when I haven't ever had any experience with drawing her type of hair. Oh, well... I guess what's done is done and maybe tomorrow I can work on improving my Rarity, assuming the theme is conducive to it.

I love how people spazz out on me for liking this show and call me an immature manchild. And I'm just taking it in stride.

Now, who's the manchild again?

I think my favorite troll on the wired post was so uninformed he chided Wired for covering a old fad, making a direct comparison to Windows XP. Talk about Comically Missing the Point

I just had to compare him to a fish with a memory of 7 minutes if he thinks a show only a few months old is comparable to Windows XP being "new"
