~100 years is a reasonable time for a family to be doing one thing, especially in a modern society where "going into the family business" isn't very common anymore. And Granny Smith isn't an Apple by blood (theme naming aside) which means she either married into the family or one of her children did, so the Apple clan proper very well could go back much farther in apple farming. Family trees can get pretty big.

And going back a bit, to the conversation about Soarin'? I don't really give a shit what he looks like, I'd just want to listen to him. But for the record I'm getting the feeling that the wonderbolts would be mostly like acrobats, given the nature of their performances, and the fact that they'd need to be very streamlined. So there'd be muscle there, but he's probably very lithe looking.

seriously though, can you imagine the noises he would make? Oh my god...

Come to think of it, Spitfire's pretty good too. She's got a good voice. Hell, considering they're popularity I wouldn't be surprised if the wonderbolts were pretty much all like that. They're probably something akin to movie stars there. okay, I'm done now.

New Topic: You are set up on five blind dates in a row, back to back, with five of the Mane Six. Who do you take where? What order to take them out on? And most importantly: who do you leave out?

Freak out, because I've only ever done anything vaguely like a date once, when I was in high school.
Rarity: Picking her first, because she might actually end up teaching me something about how to handle a date. Dinner someplace fancy. I hope she likes Italian.
Rainbow Dash: "What's in your hoof? Back to me. It's two tickets to that thing you love." That thing being the Wonderbolts' next airshow.
Twilight Sparkle: Just tea, someplace quiet. Might have to convince her to stop worrying about doing things strictly by-the-book.
Pinkie Pie: Boy howdy. I think she'd end up dragging me to a nightclub, or something.
Applejack: A nice picnic, somewhere around a hill with a view. Preferably a view of the sunset, because sunsets are great. (Save the best for last, eh?)

Leaving out Fluttershy because having two awkwardly quiet people would just spoil the night for the both of us.
