Also, damn, I missed the sockpuppetry. Though I would've probably ended not that funny: only plan I had for it is to show up with Celestia/Trollestia and post her trollface image.

I would've showed up with Applejack if I knew how to make a sock puppet. Or Big Macintosh but just saying "Eyup" wouldn't be very productive XD

Oh that was SO much fun.

We should TOTALLY do it again sometime. But this time, call ahead. I think everything was fine until the second Twilight came on.

And Katara. And Goku. And Candace. Who was next, Batman?

Its the internet. There is ALWAYS Batman.

B Ut if he DID show up, he'd inevitably come up with a solution to our problems, and that's no fun.

Yeah, sock puppets make threads bigger. They're like miracle growth, but for internet discussions. I mean, come on: We Are Our Avatars is basically an entire thread devoted to sockpuppets, and it's mindbogglingly huge, and *still going*.

I think the interaction of two Twilights was hilarious - they pretty much were exactly what kept the whole fun/mess going. Doctors were somewhat fitting, even non-equine ones. Katara and others, however, indeed were completely off.

The influx of off-show sockpuppets managed to derail the derail.

So from now on, we limit our puppets to ponies and doctors.

And I don't mean House.

BTW, I'm thinking of making a puppet

I'm using the 'event' that caused the Twilight Sparkles to gather here to explain why I'm able to play Rarity where she is now in WAOA, so there's something.

Usually I would call two of the same sockpuppet at the same time a very, very bad idea.

Though, they made is somewhat tolerable and quirky. That is, we turned it into something coherent. Then Katara came in, and things went nutty.

The Katara one I think was an attempt to troll.

Alright everyone, from now on, we should say what puppets we're going to use.

Hmm... slightly off topic, I'm slightly tempted to rejoin WAOA, except I know how much of an obsession and a time sink it became for me.

Also, I left it ages ago and only a handful of people from when I took part are still involved.

Also, we should establish appropriate times when we can sockuppet RP.

By the way, I'm disappointed that there's no MLP entry on OC Stand In. I would write one but I'm not terribly knowledgeable on the state of fanfiction.

The sockuppets are easily startled. But they'll be back. And in greater numbers

Greater numbers?

I wonder how many parasprite sockpuppets it's possible to make.
