@Mage, from a few pages ago: The sack of flour was
supposed to be
Madame LeFleur, you ruffian.
Oh, by the way, Blueblood's a pompous asshole, but he's also an entire idiot. He does what he does because he's been raised that way, it seems - there's a bittersweet fic out there called
Dear Idiot, a letter from Celestia (
slightly drunk on donuts Celestia) to Blueblood after the events of "The Best Night Ever". It should definitely be read, but Celestia alternates between berating Blueblood, insulting him viciously ("I just feel a vague sense of disappointment, like the mares to whom you give your 'royal bequeathment', which I throw up in my mouth a little every time I hear said", or something along those lines), and mourning the child that she loved and played with. She offers to help him mend his ways, too, and though
Dear Idiot's Blueblood is, as the author says, Charlie Sheen in pony form, I can see Celestia holding the same, though much less vicious, opinion of her 'nephew' in canon.
^Spitfire and Soarin' both recognized her and wanted to spend time with her, but they had celebrity duties to attend to, much like the Princess and Twilight.
