Well, I finally caved and decided to watch one episode the other day, just so I could say I tried it and didn't like it.

That plan...didn't work out. Long story short, I just hit that awful point I always reach with a show where I realize that I have to actually wait for new episodes.

I just hit that awful point I always reach with a show where I realize that I have to actually wait for new episodes.

I hit that too, even while the season was still running.

(I also hit it with Homestuck, but that's another thread)

A guy I knew randomly watched the Buffalo v. Settler episode; on his own volition as I will never divulge my love of this show to anyone... He quit 10 minutes in. Apparently Applejack nearly gave him "stupid cancer" with her reading a bedtime story to a tree.

I got my friend to watch the first two episodes. He was not amused. He gave the show a chance but apparently it just wasn't for him. (I'm thinking about making him read the tvtropes article on the subject, because he is at least familiar with tvtropes)

If you think the sockpuppets are weird here you should have seen what happened when the Twilight sockpuppet showed up in the Negima thread. It was quite surreal. Especially when a Negima sockpuppet showed up to talk to the Twilight one.
