Ginger: I don't expect this to convince you, but I figure I'll give you my own reasons. I find her relatable because I used to be like her to some extent (I never had her nearly inexhaustible energy). When I was a kid, I was enthusiastic, optimistic and rather naive when it came to other peoples' reactions to the aforementioned traits. Fortunately for Pinkie Pie, Equestria is more tolerant and... less opportunistic than our world. Call it nostalgia if you will, but I see things in her I wish I still had.

Everyone seems to dislike Rainbow Dash. I feel so alone.

I'm also excited about the new episode. The idea of Pinkie having to learn to be responsible appeals to me.

I'm more or less in the same boat as Kuroi, used to be a real little terror.

Reality proceeded to hit me with a few bricks and the whole road.

I'm still a bit of a goof, mind.

Yeah, I'm also naive, random and occaisionally bouncy (though I run out of energy quickly). And my sister is even more random than I am, so that much I identify with.

EDIT: I dolike Rainbow Dash. Because of her flaws.

I didn't see mare Do Well, so I can't comment on how they chose to show what a newborn pony looks like.

In RL, they walk within an hour or so. They can gallop by the end of the day. It's part of the 'prey animal survival' thing. They have to be able to run away from trouble and keep up with their herd.

...crap, I'm doing it again, trying to shoehorn realism into a fictional medium.

Badwolf: I also like her. I like all of the main six. My issue is with her getting a little derailed, not Dashie herself.

That IS a good point about Twilight having taken it on her own blind faith/assumption that Pinkie Sense isn't real while ignoring the concrete evidence for it.

Pinkie didn't seem to mind it being studied, so I think she should try studying it again, this time in a more objective "let's find out more about this new phenomenon" kind of way.

I do like Rainbow Dash, but mainly when she's being funny like Tomo.

I just didn't like the self-fulfilling prophecy thing. The second that reveal happened I just wanted to leap into the space between Spaces and uppercut Dave Polsky with all my might.

Plus, I'm not a fan of mean spirited slapstick

I don't like slapstick for the sake of making a buttmonkey out of someone, I prefer to wield slapstick as a karma-guided weapon against specific kinds of meanies.

Maybe the Baby Cakes episode is the episode the leaked song is from.

I'd be willing to bet on that.

Well to be fair. If they didn't go to Froggy Bottom Bog the doozy would have been that Fluttershy had defeated a Hydra. Since they did go and stopped that from happening there had to be another doozy.

The current poll on Equestria Daily is who has the best mane. Rainbow Dash is just beating Rarity. Yay.

How do the ponies sleep confortably knowing that that thing is out there within walking distance of the town?

Now that I think about it, after Pinkie basically poisoned the whole town, how can they leave her unsupervised again? Especially with something as important as their kids?

Monser purges are the Witch Hunt of Equestria. "She's a vampire!"

What a newborn in Equestria should be like, as told in a throwaway flash-fic:

"Oh, what a cute little colt!" Rarity exclaimed, eying the tan-colored newborn. The mother beamed.

"Born yesterday. Glad that's over with..."

Rarity regarded the newborn, just a day old, with a kind smile. The tiny colt smled back, then made some unintelligable vocalizations before walking off hesitantly on long thin legs, back to his mother. He nudged at her earnestly and made a pleading sound.

"Oh, you're hungry again. You'll have to excuse me, Rarity, can I use one of yoru changing stalls for a bit?"

"Oh of course, my dear, right over there."

The mother walked off, the colt braying once in a pathetically-cute plea, before trotting off behind her, hurrying to catch up with his mommy. It wouldn't be long before he'd be running and galloping, maybe by the end of the week, Rarity thought, and that was if he was a slow learner.

On the one hoof: Fuck you, Writers!

On the other hoof: I really liked Party Of One. Maybe this ep will finally humanize Pinkie and make her relateable.

Pinkie was the one thick enough to not even take a cursory glance in the bowl before shoving them in the oven
