Me too, it's a good sign for season 2.

Speaking of season 2 you guys think We wil get another epic two parter like "the mare on the moon" or more slice of life?

I think they've stated that they're doing more plot arc stuff next season, so 2 parters might be part of that. I'm sure it'll still be mostly slice of life though.

Both I think. There's supposed to be actual villains in season 2, so maybe we'll get a two-parter for the finale when they fight the new Big Bad.

I'm not so sure I actually want more of the epic stuffs...

I rather like the slice of life.

I feel weird for not wanting much more adventure. I guess I'm in a minority.

normally I would disgaree but the characters are so well done that an epic adventure would't be nessesary.

Also the opening two parter is arguably weaker than the rest of the series, so that's a factor. The slice of life stuff has been the best content so far.

I'm somewhat in the middle. I wouldn't mind some adventuring, just a few episodes. But I also like the slice of life. I mostly just want to see Luna. Adventuring with Luna, throwing a birthday party for her because Celestia was too busy, whatever.

I don't really want more adventure, either. I like the slice-of-life episodes.

I love villains, and with this shows songs, a Villain Song would be cool

I'd like to see a balance of both. I have confidence they can do adventure just as well as the slice of life and I rather liked the pilot arc. And honestly, I think the pilot feels a bit weaker not because it's an adventure episode, but because it is the pilot. I think it's quite likely they were probably still getting a feel for what they wanted to do with the characters and the season at that point.

I think what'll probably happen will be that the big bad will take up the season arc - as in, the few episodes we got about the gala, this time around those episodes, plus your opening and maybe a couple more, will be about the big bad.

As much as I enjoy Slice of Life, I wouldn't mind more adventure stuff. As long as there's more Princess Luna, of course.

As long as they don't mess up the show in some horrible way, I'd love new content of either kinds. The one major complaint I have, though, has to do with your trouble with the toy Twilight, actually.

Why hasn't Hasbro realized the toys should be in the new art style? Instead of some strange hybridization of the old and new?

I want epic adventure AND slice of life. And more Spike-focused episodes. And a cookie.

[up][up][up]It's a pretty stark change, style wise...maybe they're having a bit of trouble making the new moulds? I dunno, but you're definitely not alone in wanting better toys. Hell, I'd love to see better toys, and I'm not even buying the darn things...yet.

I'd more epic stuffs, too. Maybe not have them be the majority of the episodes, but it'd be cool.

I think Hasbro wants them to look a little more like actual equines than the in-show and everywhere else designs do. But I'm just guessing

I think they haven't even tried with new molds, and are just trying to re-use old ones... And/or are trying to get away with minimal editing. Though, with such a bad oversight as making Celestia pink I wouldn't put anything past them at this point.... Bleh.

well, they seem to be making an effort, what with the shoutouts and ascended fannon...I dunno, though, maybe they're thinking that the adult fans won't want to buy the toys? Though that'd be a bit of a grievous oversight, wouldn't it?

Yes, it would be. The only reason I don't have a Twilight Sparkle already is because all the official toys suck.
