So I did manage to get the boots finished up, although my technique was kind of sloppy (definitely was sewing for way too long today... it actually kind of hurt afterward, the ugliest part of my stitching is, luckily, hidden inside the boots. >.>

Still not entirely done, though. The outfit itself is ready to go, but Twilight herself isn't. I just finished starting this thing recommended to me called a boil perm that is supposed to make the hair more malleable and then when dry, set semi-permanently. However, I'm having some doubts, as the bangs seem to be going back to default position (that is, way off to the side) and it's not even dry yet. Regardless, I'm still going to cut it and try to get it looking as close to the show as possible and hopefully I'll have something nice to show off in the morning.

My father was watching TV and switch to channel with Gummy Bears on it.

What country do you live in? (IIRC, Adventures of the Gummi Bears has not aired in the US in about ten years, when I think Toon Disney dropped it)

I would just make Pinkie Pie a speedster, able to zip from point to point. There's enough evidence that she's the fastest pony on land. I suspect that Pinkie uses extreme speed and stealth to achieve the appearance of teleporting to someplace she can pop up from by surprise.

Or, depending on what kind of game it is, give Pinkie special respawn privileges?

For a while I got mixed up and expected Rainbow Dash to be voiced by Tara Strong. But when someone pointed out that Twilight Sparkle shared a voice with Raven, I thought, "Of course! It's just like the Teen Titans cartoon: The superheroics take a backseat to learning life lessons about the importance of friendship... also comedy!"

I wonder what channel in Poland will show MLPFIM. I hope it will be some like CN, Disney Channel or Nick because on satelite TV I can switch to english and avoid dumbing.

On the subject of Pinkie in a MLP game:

I've got a plan. On a sidescroller, Pinkie's ability would be a simple one: hold down a button and the screen would stop scrolling, and Pinkie can now wrap around the screen. If she falls in a bottomless pit, she shows up at the top of the screen. She leaves off the left and shows up on the right.

It could make for some interesting puzzles where you have to position the screen just right in order to give Pinkie a path to prance through.

Hey ponies, I made my first PMV! It was actually based off an idea that I had in the other Fi M thread, and I would post it there, but that place seems pretty dead by now, so I figured here would be the next best thing. Yeah yeah, Pinkie Pie would be a bizarre stealth platformer, Applejack would kick and lasso everything into submission, Twilight Sparkle would send Spike on collectathons and fetch quests before unleashing TEH AWESOME... Hey, am I the only one who thinks you should also have some kind of "social-fu" component to the game? Granted, I haven't played any of the official Flash games yet...

That reminds me, I think I realized something about Giggle at the Ghosties today after I saw the "a capella" version. I always assumed the other ponies joined in for the chorus, but with vocals only, I thought I heard Pinkie's voice doubled... Then I noticed that no one else ever mouths the words to the song; all they do is laugh. Now I'm pretty sure it really is a solo song, and they just layered Pinkie Pie's voice on top of herself to create the harmony!

Totally sounds like the ending theme to a video game or movie or something.

Absolutely love this song. Not sure if it or You Gotta Share [Spaghetti Western Mix] is better.

Hehe, just another example of how the laws of the universe bend around Pinkie Pie.

On a side note in case anyone is wondering: I still don't have anything to show because I'm an idiot. I had the hair set when it was longer so that I could just clip off the excess and more or less still have the style I wanted. Well, seems I forgot to account for me relying on gravity for some of that, so when the extra weight of the rest of the hair was gone, the remainder went nuts and started going all over the place, erasing about 3/4 of what the boil perm did manage to help with. Since I wasn't too impressed with the results of the boil perm for the efforted, I've decided to forgoe a second try and now I'm trying an approach that involves hair gel. Should be dry in a little while, so here's hoping.

EDIT: Needed to correct the amount of up arrows to account for posts posted while I was writing.

As much as a fan i am, i will never get a pony avatar. Never!

But why? Nothing stopped you from gathering a wide collection of the series your current one is from.

I'm hesitant to change my avatar because it's confusing when people switch avatars all the time.

When I first started posting here I decided to never change my avatar, ever.

These ponies are seriously testing that.

No your avatar's still good Free, it's the face you make while watching My Little Pony.
