@Cookoo: Not sure, but I think a little bit was missing, which contributed to my feeling of how fast the episode went by.

I was suggesting that Pinkie knew Dash was about to jump her and let it happen, since their plan called for Dash to find out who Mare-do-Well was anyway.

And I have a theory that Pinkie Sense only works during certain times of the month, otherwise we would see it all the time (like at the Young Flier's Competition)

I just realized why the Earth ponies were needed.

They weren't just saving people before RD could, they were actively showing her up in ALL of the areas she excels in: (and then some)

AJ outdid RD's strength

Pinkie outdid RD's speed and co-ordination

Twilight showed off something amazing that RD couldn't hope to match

Fluttershy was the final turn of the knife by demonstrating that the mare could fly too.

It was all to demonstrate that the mare was superior to RD in EVERY concievable way

Remember what the fandom did when Look Before You Sleep first aired? We ignored it and went back to discussing Dragonshy. Why can't we do that now? Now I'm seeing Ruined FOREVER on all of Ponychan and Equestria Daily.

again, to everypony complaing about how the Earth ponies got screwed because Twilight could have done anything they did.

IT'S TWILIGHT!!!

This isn't a case of all unicorns being better then EP's, it's a case of Twilight being a Game Breaker. fact is they DID do those things, they WERE awesome, and with the exception of the princesses, we haven't seen anything anypony could do that Twilight couldn't.

being upset because Unicorns or Pegasi can do everything better then Earth ponies, valid if true, which I really don't see. Being upset that something Earth Ponies did doesn't count because it could have also been done by the most powerful non-phycial goddess in the land, not so much.

@Ginger: if it's any consolation to you, that dam is something that only Twilight, the OP unicorn, can do. You know, plot device to show that RD is not omnipotent etc.

I liked the episode. But I think it's the worst of the series as well.
