@Mousa I happen to LIKE british TV. What I meant is that I just liked the way your tvs show stuff. The layout, the commercials, the voice overs, the fact that I can tune in to CBS!

I loved the subway. Grime and all. (I think it adds character) That's the main thing I liked about manhattan actually, was how grimy it was. I fucking LOVED your street vendors. OMG, they were so cool.

I walked down a new york street shirtless with no shoes on so I could get some lunch, nothing bad happened to me, and I'm a guy whom EVERYONE snickers at when I pass them. (it's the mullet)

@Ginger, Different strokes I suppose, I am a person of cleanliness and get chills in places like the NYC subway.

I say again, that's not America, that's New York. I saw a clown go by with no carnival in sight and no one batted an eye. But to be honest, I would've laughed. I didn't know anyone still wore mullets unironically.

@Mousa: There's really no centered "American" culture. There's so much cultural and philosophical diversity that identifying one as being "American" is really kinda impossible. Pretty much every major city has it's own culture. As for NYC, I like it, although I wouldn't want to live there. Way too expensive.
