Hey, did anyone noticed that snips mane color is darker shade of snails coat color and vice-versa?

The ultimate question is: What is the ultimate question?

no, she is a few inches taller. Not enough to really notice unless she's standing close to another pony.

As the the Derpy vid, it was amusing. Way to random and WTF to take seriously, but, just siting back to enjoy the ride.. it works.

Adventure Time is hilarious. But, different shows call for different types of jokes. I prefer keeping the absurdity/randomness out of ponies. I mean, laser eyes? Really?

I've never been big on LOLRANDOM humor. Character based stuff is more my style.

^^ Ditto, which is why Adventure Time tends to be hit-and-miss with me depending on the episode's focus. I like the ones that develop the interpersonal relationships of the characters a lot more than the one-off adventures.

I can take LOLRANDOM humor for maybe 5 minutes at a time.

I can take random humor so long as it's well done. Too often, the punchline to such humor ends up simply being "That was random". Just as an example, Spongebob likes to employ random humor, but the best episodes of it end up being hilarious because there's more to the joke than just how out of left field it is.

I just got up to season 2 episode 1 (The Titanic) of Futurama. They sure do love their Conspicuous CGI. 3d pans, everywhere. Did anyone else think the Robot Hell thing would turn out to be one of those lame hellhouse things that religious nuts sometimes put on to try to scare people straight?

Also, I noticed the Defcon We Kill Owls sign in the opening sequence. Given the owl shadow in the first episode, I have a feeling it might become significant.

Ah, Robot Hell. Man, just wait until you get to the episode where Fry and the Robot Devil trade hands. Literally.

[up][up][up]That's exactly it. There has to be some sort of form for the randomness to contrast with.

Personally I found it pretty stupid.

The Arrow Ninja's been seen a lot less since we stopped having periods of rapid posting activity, but I guess he likes to pop back in now and again to keep us on our toes.

Wouldn't that just mean he's doing his job properly?

The Problem with Pobblers in of my favorite episodes of Futurama.

Agreed about Spongebob. The best episodes started with a funny premise, made a series of semirandom jokes and short abserdities to get there, and ended it in a punchline. Among other problems with the new seasons, they play out the premise to the point where jokes get old fast and it's tedious. The first few seasons had enough clever humour to have unexpected jokes while keeping the plot intact. Stretching a plot to the point of dullness just doesn't work.

I've heard that the seasons of Spongebob after the movie don't actually exist.

No, they exist, but I think Word Of God said they all happen BEFORE the movie, even if they are aired after it.

... So does THAT movie come before the first movie? Or does it still come after, because it's a movie, not an episode?

I spend too much time on this.
