Aaaagh! I remember someone criticising The Worst Bakers In Equestria for having "inaccurate" portrayels of Derpy and Luna. That was so ridiculous. Guess what? The fanfic's Luna ended up being closer to canon!Luna.

Personally, yeah, I see the Gryphon Kingdom as being the equivalent of Western Europe. They're not the only things in Deerope though (look at the name for a hinttongue).

I watched a video about Cadance a couple of weeks ago. At one point, the narrator said that Cadance was "born an orphan."

Um...

Twilight says you're a motherf***er.

That is the most badass origin I've ever heard.

Edit: Although I guess it is technically possible if the father died while she was in the womb and the mother died during childbirth.

There is a tumblr about an insane thread about ponies.

So, her mother was already dead while giving birth to her? Or was Cadence just conjured out of the aether?

[lol]She also inherited infertility![lol]

EDIT: Okay. Technically the mother can die in childbirth, so not quite that bad.

Trottingham is over there somewhere too I'd wager? I don't think its on the "official" map of Equestria.

Yes, there is. But it's not drawn to scale.

There's also one of the lands just south of Equestria.

I'm just assuming since Pip had a British sounding Accent that maybe ponies lived in The "UK" of Equestria. Which I would think would be positioned similarly to the UK in the real world.

Perhaps its primarily Gryphons but ponies live there for business reasons.

Ooh... does the Daring Do book give us evidence of a Pony Central America? Ahuizotl(sp?) is an Aztec legend.

I don't think so. No sign of it on the official maps, so I'm still calling it as across the pond. Because sea trading is aesthetically fun.

No. We've never been told where Trottingam is. It being a pony town in the othewise gryphon UK makes sense though.

I actually liked that idea that that's "Eagleland".

EDIT: And yes, there should be places like Panllama and the Tapiron.

So I've just found out that my enrolment session is not till 4PM so panic over for me. It looks I'm gonna be fine.

Did I hear "Eageland"? Is that a world filled with nothing but clones of Sam the Eagle?

So, Cadence was raised in West Fillydelphia?

Cadence reads the best story ever written.

Oh, this ought to be good...

@Story I said it wasn't the worst episode I've seen! What more do you need? I'm now agreeing with what you said about it, ya don't need to point the finger at me.

I want "Pony Mexico" to be full of Bipedal Gila monsters. Or maybe Geckos ... so it could be like Gexico or something.

I seem to be the only person here who really dislikes Feeling Pinkie Keen

It's one of my less favorite Pinkie episodes but I don't really hate it.

At one point, the narrator said that Cadance was "born an orphan."

Maybe her mother died in childbirth.

... and then I get doubleninja'd.

I said it wasn't the worst episode I've seen! What more do you need? I'm now agreeing with what you said about it, ya don't need to point the finger at me.

I was referring to how you kept saying that everyone said it was the worst.

TSATCHS doesn't say she's the princess of the Crystal Empire, but I'm sticking with it given she can use the Heart in the first place and makes more sense than a random orphan. And if the griffon lands are Deeurope, or part of it, then Trottingham and the surrounding areas that would be an English analogue are a colony of Equestria. A reverse of Real Life.

ummm, huh? Okay, first off, she was a pegasus, not an EP or Crystal pony, it happen over 1000 years ago, and till she faced that witch, she was a normal pony. The heart from the spell isn't made clear to be connected to the Empire at all. Plus she never used it, it was the witch, so seems anypony who wears it can use it. If you mean the Crystal Heart, from the show, then no SHE wasn't using it, all she did was put it in place then let the Crystal Ponies activate it.
