My roommate got a post in the job I was applying and interviewing for? I think there's one more slot open, but I'm not sure, but either way it means I'm either working with a friend, or lost the job to someone I at least know is qualified to do it.

Plus... in a lot of ways I'm not sure about the job. It'd be a lot better than my current one, but either way the job I actually want is one opening in a few months for a design position in a company near my apartment. Taking this job would be a bit of a... in-between for me, I guess, at that feels vaguely dishonest... plus for something temporary, I dunno. A bit of a 'devil you know' situation.

It's a weird position. I want the job, but it's not the job I want.

I can't help but wonder what the hell I'll do now. No degree for me. And in the council, you're fighting with thousands of people to get positions, and it takes years to get advancement. Plus that's just not what I want to be doing with my life. I have cousins and aunts/uncles and friends who are all gradutes. Very embarrassing.
